How To Search A Web Page

To search a web page (or a page in just about any windows program for that matter) for a particular word, follow these instructions:

  1. If you are searching a web page with frames, first click on a blank area of the frame you want to search (this tells Windows which frame you are about to search, otherwise it will default to the one on the left)
  2. Click on "Edit" in the top left hand corner of the window containing the page you want to search.
  3. Click "Find" in the drop-down box
  4. Enter what you want to search for, eg: "Miami"
  5. Click on "Find Next" to see the first occurrence of the word you entered.
  6. Repeat until you get a message telling you there are no more.

Or use a keyboard shortcut:

  1. Click on a blank area of the frame you want to search
  2. Press CTRL + F, which will bring up a search box
  3. Continue as above
Go to main page.
